Grad 2008 Photobooth

June 28th, 2008

So grad eh?

I’ll do a couple little thank you’s first. First off a shout out to my dad who helped me a ton with setting up the photo booth. Thanks to everyone who organized and worked on anything grad related. Thanks to co-MC Andrew for being steezy and making thing work out. And thanks to everyone for sharing a great night with our class and making it great.

Okay, pictures that’s what you’re here for right? First off there is a copy of all of the pictures already on facebook for all of you to tag yourself as you wish

To get large files which you can use to print images (don’t worry about costs its my gift to the class) CLICK HERE or CLICK HERE or CLICK HERE to get to my flickr album for the night. There you will find one of each of the pictures from the night.

To download the large size pictures that you want: Click on the thumbnail image. Then a medium sized image will come up on your screen. Above that medium sized image there will be a button that says ‘All Sizes’ click on that. This finally brings you to a page with options of the sizes of the same picture. The largest size is ‘original’ so click on that.

Now that you finally have the largest file on your screen: Immediately above the image it says ’click to download original’ and your good to go

Enjoy your Pictures!

Road Biking Shoot

June 26th, 2008

This Tuesday I went to Edworthy Park with my brother Joshua to take some pictures of him riding before he embarks on his summer long journey across the continent. Yeah, he is riding all the way, quite like my dad did thee summers ago.

It was the first time played around with long shutter speed and flashes, and it was fun trying to balance everything and make it work out. It really helped that I was shooting with a road biker, so he had no complaints when I asked him to loop around another time to change something in a picture. That, and he didn’t mind riding around to get away from all the mosquitoes. If I wasn’t wearing jeans and a hoodie I would have lost a liter of blood to those suckers.

The Missing Camera

June 24th, 2008

Sorry about the lack of new content on the page. As some of you may know I’ve been out of commission lately because of problems with equipment. One of my lens’s autofocus broke (my main zoom), and went for warranty. When the lens got back a long time later the autofocus still wasn’t working satisfactorily so I had to send it and my cam body to be looked at and fixed. They only got back on Friday… so its been about two months being of missing some or most of the stuff I need to shoot.

So I’ve got a couple scenic shots from the last year for you.

Also note the new blog comment section and contact.
