I think Disneyland might be in contention with Whistler now. I just don’t think they can compete with the amount of awesome that Whistler puts out at the Telus World Ski Snowboard Festival, it’s just too rad.

That being said, within the first half hour i spent behind the lens I did recieve a skateboard to the jaw, and is it bad if i checked my camera for damage before blood or mortal injury of my own? Flesh heals, cameras don’t.

I thought that Victoria offered great sights, helarious things to see. I was once confronte by a man, atleast 50 years old, British, shoulder length gray pin straight hair, dressed head to toe in 1700s getup. yeah, pretty strange… but then:
“have you seen a big…. gray… probably 250 maybe 300 pound… gray… squirrel?”
and yes, that was the same guy, as i described above.

So who knows, maybe it’s BC that is all crazy?

Continuing my More Fashionable than Me post from several weeks ago I have three shots from our second week of fashion.
At the end of the course all the students at my school submitted their favorite three shots from the week. My personal submissions were the picture of Chelsea and Rebecca from the previous blog post (link above) as well as the picture of Justine on the yellow floor below.
After a short critique and slideshow of our classmates’ images, my set of images were awarded ‘best 3 shots’ by some of the school’s faculty; a small but rather impressive achievement considering my previous fashion ignorance.

Langford BC was home to the Quest for the Title fight night of Muay Thai Kickboxing. Featuring male and female fighters mainly from North America, except for Emil Salva of Romania who fought Garbriel Varga of Canada for the World Super Lightweight title.

Throughout the night the Canadian fighters came out victors often with a knockout or unanimous vote from the judges.
