Over the past two weeks, I’ve been out doing a lot more Mountain Bike shooting. I’m really excited to be back outside with the camera, as I’m coming off an injured knee.
However this leaves a bit less mental space for preparing a blog for this week. So instead of talking on a new topic this is a little retrospective entry of some favorites from the past year.

One shot from this morning with Pike;

Calgary is currently extending the LRT (Light Rail Transit – Not often underground subway) past our major skate park. I’ve been eyeing up the construction for months now, waiting for the chaos of heavy machinery and construction to align with angles in the park. This morning Pike and I did some shooting before getting rained out.
Note; Stampede in Calgary is an awesome time to shoot, before getting to the park I wrangled a free Pancake-Hashbrown-Scrambled Egg-Sausage breakfast.
