I have been working with Sun Peaks Resort since 2018 to reenforce the joyful and welcoming brand through images.
Each ski resort comes with it’s own natural challenges, in Sun Peaks one of the more difficult aspects is the geology of BC’s interior mountains. Most of the mountain is convex, providing few places where you can shoot athletes with a telephoto lens; a staple for adventure sport photography. The solutions have included finding photoshoot angles with Google Earth, drone, and using a monopod 20ft above the ground to find elevated angles.
