We set out to capture the rhythm of trail running on the Squamish Chief — blending wide landscapes with close, textural moments. Alongside still photography, I shot 16mm film to bring a tactile, organic feel to the motion. The goal was to highlight both the flow of movement and the raw environment that makes BC trail running so unique: granite slabs, shifting light, and the steady work of moving uphill.
