This helmet sat of my shelf for a couple months, staring at me out of some cyberpunk future, or alternate reality. I had been given it as part of a previous Oakley creative, and I knew I had to do something fun, and outside of my regular context of mountain sport.
I’ve always loved the photographic style of early glamor magazines; black and white, matted faces, simple but effective lighting wrapping to show a person in their simplicity and beauty. Somehow I needed to put that approach and that helmet together.
So, I tapped Adel and tried to fill her in on this genre mashup.
I’m not sure if she got it when I described it verbally, but, with some AI moodboarding, she seemed to trust that something fun could come of it. Amelia XO joined on as MUA.
Adel is represented by Legends Cafe.
